Longford girl shares magic of Irish music and dance with American audiences this Christmas

Maryann Lynch and 'The Celtic Angels' have been wowing sold out audiences at venues in Alabama, North & South Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland and Florida

Immensely talented Ardagh native Maryann Lynch has been sharing the magic of Irish music and dance with audiences across the United States this Christmas as part of 'The Celtic Angels'. 

Maryann, along with Victoria Sexton (Kildare), Aoife Barrett (Limerick), Jessica Hayes (Waterford) and Myn Fitzpatrick (Wexford), make up 'The Celtic Angels' who have been wowing sold out audiences at venues in Alabama, North & South Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland and Florida. 

In a stunningly produced promotional video with @michaelbcostello, Maryann tells us how music and dance has always been a part of her life and how proud she is to share her home Ardagh and Longford with the rest of the world.

In 2022, Maryann made her professional debut in the musical theatre world when she starred in the West End hit musical 'The Commitments' which included no less than 16 performances in the Olympia in Dublin and as well as in the Grand Opera House in Belfast. 

Maryannhas been singing and dancing since the age of four. Trained in ballet to Grade 8 with distinction, she went on to win several national titles. She has various titles for singing and enjoys playing the fiddle.

Maryann earned a First-Class Honours degree in Musical Theatre from The Brighton Academy, affiliated with Bath Spa University.
