The Tipperary and Wexford hurling challenge game in Carrick On Suir on Saturday helped raise vital funds for the care of Ryan O’Dwyer from Ballyrichard, Carrick-on- Suir and formerly Main Street, Carrick who was involved in a serious road accident last July that left him paralysed from the chest down.
While the racist comments directed towards Lee Chin overshadowed the hurling in the aftermath, the day itself went a long way to raising vital funds for the good cause. In this video Verona Walsh, a member of Ryan's family, is speaking about the positive aspects of the day which helped raise vital funds.
