WATCH: A normal day in rural Tipperary way back in the summer of 1974!

Ballinure in Tipperary and the people of the village are the stars of this opening sequence to 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly'.

This opening sequence for 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly’ features the village of Ballinure in County Tipperary. Ballinure is situated approximately 14km north of Fethard, 14 km south of Thurles, and 7km west of Killenaule.

A woman is seen training a horse, another drives cattle along the road. A group of children play hurling in a field. This episode of 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly’ was broadcast on 13 November 1974.
