The Offaly golfer let rip at the American crowd after rolling in a monster putt to win the third hole with Rory McIlroy against Justin Thomas and Cameron Young.
The putt put the European pair one up in the match after three holes.
He followed up with a winning putt on the fourth to putt his team two up and then rolled in a birdie on the fifth to halve the hole.
Sky Sports reported that Shane Lowry had one spectator thrown out of Bethpage Black.
After three sessions, the Europeans led 8.5 to 3.5 ahead of the Saturday Fourballs.
