Workers seriously injured after massive machete fight breaks out on Galway farm

Several other workers tried to stop the violence which stemmed from a heated argument between both hospitalised men
Two people have been hospitalised after a machete fight broke out between workers on a Galway farm.
A pair of Brazilian men were seriously injured by the knife weapon attack when a massive fight broke out between the workers on a farm in the Eyrecourt area last week.
The act of violence stemmed from a heated argument between the two hospitalised men while they were working last Thursday.
Both were injured during the altercation and were taken to hospital but the full extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Galway Live understands that a number of other workers on the farm tried to stop the fight and break the men apart and that they also received injuries.
