Victoria’s Secret opens at Galway Shopping Park
The ‘iconic and glamorous’ chain has opened a section inside one of the stores
Victoria’s Secret has opened a section for shoppers at a Galway store.
Next at the Gateway Shopping Park in Knocknacarra is stocking a small section of the famous lingerie brand which will entice shoppers from around the county.
Described on their website as “iconic and glamorous” the major chain is one of the most popular in the world for sleep and beauty accessories.
Sadly elsewhere, two Galway shopping centre stores are closing down including one which has been in business for three decades.
Ashford Collection and DK shoes both confirmed that they will no longer operate at Galway Shopping Centre at the Headford Road in the coming future.
DK shoes confirmed a closing down sale last week stating ‘everything must go, don’t miss out because when it’s gone, it’s gone’.
Their website, however, states that they are ‘working on something special, check back soon’ indicating a shift to a more online based service.
The other is Ashford Collection, the homeware and giftware retailer which is permanently closing its Headford Road branch on June 30.
It follows ‘a major relocation and final clearance sale with significant markdowns on furniture, lighting, and crystal’.
Their website states: ‘For 30 years Ashford Collection have been bringing you unique and affordable giftware, furniture and lighting. Family owned and run we offer a wide range of products, from our beautiful chandeliers to the most thoughtful of small gifts. The best place to see our extensive range is in store with weekly stock changes.’
