'A sad day for Westport' - Historic Post Office closes its doors
As the 125 year-old iconic Westport Post Office is about to close its doors on Friday afternoon, we’re talking with An Post worker Tom Burns.
He has been working here for more than 20 years and says ‘this building will always be known as the post office’.
Watch as he collects the last post from the box before the Office closes its doors. The post business will move to Kavanagh’s Supervalu in Westport from Monday.
