Mayo into the last four after quality second half performance against Cork
Andy Moran has led his side within touching distance of All-Ireland final in his first season in charge
Mayo are into the last four of this year's All-Ireland senior football championship after a hard fought victory over a wasteful Cork side in Croke Park this afternoon.
It was level at 0-9s points each at the break but Mayo, boosted by some great second performances by second half substitutes Tommy Conroy, Mattie Ruane and Conor Loftus, were much the better team in the second half and ended up winning by a scoreline of 0-23 to 0-18.
Andy Moran and his team can now relax and watch the other three quarter-finals and then await the draw for the semi-finals, which are due to take place in two weeks time.
