Kerry-Mayo band SuperCéilí will play three shows at the Claddagh Ring in North London as supporters gear up for the highly anticipated All-Ireland final rematch.

Mayo fans heading to London will have plenty to look forward to off the pitch too, as Kerry-based SuperCéilí bring their high-energy, wild brand of live ‘Irish Dance Music’ to the Claddagh Ring in Hendon, North London.

The group will play three shows across one of the biggest weekends in the London Irish calendar, kicking things off with a midnight performance on Friday, November 27. They’ll return on Saturday, November 28, for a 1:00 pm show ahead of the match, before taking to the stage again at 11:00 pm, straight after Galway superstar band Clada.

SuperCéilí producer Peter Staunton expressed the group's excitement ahead of the shows.

"We're in for a very exciting weekend, a short distance from the stadium where the momentous game will be played, and we can't wait to bring our combined Kerry/Mayo brand of madness to the Claddagh Ring," he said.

On Saturday, November 28, Mayo and Kerry meet again at StoneX Stadium in a rematch of this summer's All-Ireland final, and the Claddagh Ring is just a short distance away.

"With SuperCéilí all weekend and Clada on Saturday night, the Claddagh Ring is the place to be, whichever county you're shouting for," said Finbar Holian, proprietor of the Claddagh Ring.

SuperCéilí are among a rare breed of acts bringing traditional Irish music and cutting-edge electronics together in a completely live performance. Described as hardcore ‘Irish Dance Music’, their unique sound blends traditional tunes with electronic beats to create an irresistible, dancefloor-filling experience. With no fixed set list, live digital instrument control and an endlessly adaptable setup, every performance is different, driven by the band’s musicianship and electrifying stage presence.

For their London appearance, Peter Staunton, who has Mayo roots, will take to the accordion, joined by Kerryman Sean Leahy on guitar. Expect a little county rivalry on stage, with competing jerseys and plenty of Mayo-Kerry banter that may well continue long after the final whistle.

Joining them on Saturday night are Clada, the young Galway five-piece who have become a viral sensation with their high-energy take on traditional music since forming in 2024. They take to the stage at the Claddagh Ring at 9:00 pm, with SuperCéilí following at 11:00 pm.

Having previously shared the bill at TradFest in Dublin and Ministry of Trad in Belfast, the two bands are a formidable combination, bringing an energy and atmosphere that few acts can match. It promises to be a night of outstanding musicianship, infectious rhythms and Irish traditional music with a seriously modern edge.

"After over 1,500 performances of SuperCéilí’s wild 'Irish Dance Music’ around the world since 2012, it's surprising we've done so little in the UK. This is a big step towards changing that, and it could be the start of something very special," said Peter.
