Cheers! Wine tours and tastings available at Louth winery

Fairy Trees wine comes from a vineyard in Dunleer and has produced award-winning wine.
When we think of wine in Ireland, we think of it being grown and produced in some exotic locations. You may be surprised to learn that wine production in Ireland is very much on the rise.
One such offering comes to us from County Louth. Fairy Trees wine comes from a County Louth vineyard and has produced award-winning wine. The secret is French vines and Irish soil, a winning combination
The winery, in Dunleer, was founded in 2020 by the Laclie family, whose French/Irish origins inspired the winery's name. The master winemaker is Bertrand (Bert) Laclie.
A vineyard experience typically associated with destinations abroad is now much closer than many expect.
Fairy Trees Winery is inviting visitors to discover a wine experience available on their doorstep, blending handcrafted artisan wine with a relaxed countryside setting.

Positioned as an accessible “mini escape”, the winery caters to day-trippers, couples and groups who are seeking something different without the long day of travel added on.
This experience combines premium wine, scenic surroundings, and a distinctive brand inspired by Irish folklore, creating a memorable visitor experience.
