The death has occurred of Maura Sammon (née Raftis) of Chapel Street, Dundalk, Co Louth
Formerly of The Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast and Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Peacefully, in wonderful care of The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin on 13 August 2024. Maura, daughter of the late Jim & Ella Raftis, beloved wife of the late P.J., sister of Patrick and Jean, aunt of James, Lesley, David, Ann and their spouses Roslyn, Shilan and Lindsay, great aunt of P.J., Finn and Ella Joy and sister-in-law of Phyllis and the late P.J.. Maura will be sadly missed by her brother, sister, nieces, nephews, grandniece, grandnephews, sister-in-law, the Sammon Family, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of excellent friends.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral home Jocelyn Street from 3pm to 7pm on Thursday, 15th. Removal on Friday morning, 16th at 10.45am walking to St Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

The death has occurred of Helen (Helena) Clinton (née Kennedy) of De La Salle Crescent, Ardee, Louth
Suddenly and peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Saturday, 10th August 2024. Predeceased by her husband Paig, her son Kevin and her parents Stephen and Ann. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family Brendan, Bernadette, Vincent, Helena, Gerard and Barbara, her cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Thomas, Cíaran, Jessica, Paul, Cillian, Jamie, Nadine, Leah, Molly and Emily, her great-grandchildren Ayyan, Makhail and Áira, son-in-law Gerry and daughter-in-law Emma, her sisters and brother Maureen, Angela and Chris, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.
Reposing at her home in De La Salle Crescent on Thursday 15, from 3pm. House private on Friday morning please. Removal on Friday morning leaving her home at 9:30am walking to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
