A sample taken on 25th July has now shown the water quality to be within the ‘excellent’ range

The ‘Do Not Swim’ notice at Seapoint Beach has been lifted.

Bathers had been advised not to swim after a sample taken on 23rd July had shown elevated levels of Ecoli.

It’s believed the elevated levels may have been due to poor weather conditions.

A further sample taken on 25th July has now shown the water quality to be within the ‘excellent’ range.
