A man in his 40s was arrested as part of the investigation three days after the alleged incident
A return to work date is not yet available for a garda who was seriously injured in a dangerous driving incident in Ardee, almost four months ago, Dundalk district court heard last week.
It happened in the Clonmore area on Friday 2nd May when a van was allegedly driven at the officer in the early hours of the morning.
A man in his 40s was arrested as part of the investigation three days after the alleged incident.
Last Wednesday, an application was made to the court to adjourn three cases involving the garda which were listed for hearing on September 24th.
Court presenter Sgt Laura Blanche said she was seeking a date in the New Year and added the incident only occurred in May.
At the Defence barrister's suggestion, the cases will remain on the list for mention only on the original hearing date, with a provisional new date of March 25th being flagged.
