During this time, its says, he focused on fostering unity and growth within the party, solidifying his commitment to the party's ethos, adding that his involvement on the national council of the Social Democrats has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the party's policies, "making him well-prepared to address the unique challenges facing the Ardee LEA".
"I believe in the power of community and the positive impact that social democracy can have on people's lives. With my candidacy, I am committed to amplifying the voices of our community members and working tirelessly to address their needs," McCreanor added.
McCreanor's campaign priorities include advocating for affordable housing, revitalising local businesses, improving education access, promoting renewable energy solutions, and ensuring that the diverse needs of the community are met.
His commitment, the party says, to opening Ardee Castle as a heritage site and working towards the reopening of the Dunleer Train Station demonstrates his dedication to preserving local history and infrastructure.
