Louth’s U20 footballers go up against Mayo in a televised All-Ireland semi-final as part of a busy week of 18 live GAA matches

Louth GAA fans will be tuning in this Friday evening as the county’s U20 footballers take centre stage in a high-stakes All-Ireland semi-final clash against Mayo, which is one of 18 live matches airing this week.

The game, which throws in at 7pm in Glennon Bros Pearse Park, Longford, will be available to stream via the TG4 Player and App.

In total, 18 games will be shown live across TV and streaming platforms including TG4, RTÉ, GAA+ and Clubber, with football and hurling action from every level.

The action begins midweek with three provincial U20 hurling ties on Wednesday evening, including the Munster U20 hurling final between Tipperary and Clare live on TG4. Also on the bill are two Leinster U20 hurling semi-finals, with Laois facing Kilkenny on Spórt TG4 YouTube and Galway meeting Dublin live on the TG4 Player.

Friday offers another strong underage double-header, with Louth and Mayo clashing in the All-Ireland U20 football semi-final, while Cork take on Waterford in the Munster minor hurling final, both streaming on TG4.

The senior action returns on Saturday, with the All-Ireland football championship group stages getting underway on GAA+. Kerry welcome Roscommon to Fitzgerald Stadium at 2.30pm, followed by a heavyweight tie between Galway and Dublin at Pearse Stadium at 5pm.

Saturday also includes key matches in the Leinster SHC (Galway v Antrim), Joe McDonagh Cup (Westmeath v Carlow), and Leinster minor hurling (Kilkenny v Dublin), plus two Ulster minor football semi-finals.

The action begins early Sunday with Galway and Wexford contesting a Leinster minor hurling semi-final in Portlaoise.

The day is stacked with top-tier hurling fixtures as Tipperary face Waterford and Limerick take on Cork in two mouth-watering Munster SHC clashes live on RTÉ. Elsewhere, Kilkenny host Dublin in a Leinster SHC showdown, while Leitrim meet Sligo in the Tailteann Cup.
