Gardaí issue fines after cars block footpath in Dundalk

Three motorists were issued fixed penalty notices in Dundalk this week after parking their vehicles in a way that obstructed a public footpath on Bridge Street.

The incident, highlighted by An Garda Síochána Louth on Facebook, saw three cars left blocking pedestrian access with Gardaí describing the parking as “inconsiderate.” 

Members of the Dundalk Roads Policing Unit (RPU) were issued fixed penalty notices to the vehicle owners.
