Louth Weather: Cloudy start with further showery outbreaks

It will be a cloudy to start with further showery outbreaks of rain during the morning, wintry for a time on higher ground. Becoming drier in the afternoon with some sunny spells developing.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in mostly moderate east to northeasterly winds.

Cold and dry with long clear spells. Temperatures will fall to between -3 and 1 degrees so there will be widespread frost and some icy patches.

Mist and fog patches will form too, in light and variable winds.
