Motorbike seized in north Louth after being left for number of weeks

The Gardaí are now appealing to the owner to come forward
A black motorbike that had been left unattended for several weeks in the Lordship area was seized this week by Gardaí following a number of public reports.
Louth Gardaí confirmed the seizure after conducting checks in collaboration with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), which revealed that the vehicle was not insured.
“Following a number of calls in relation to this vehicle that has been parked up in Lordship for a couple of weeks, it was seized for No Insurance after checks were conducted with our colleagues in the PSNI,” a Garda spokesperson said in a statement on social media.
The Gardaí are now appealing to the owner of the vehicle to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Road Policing Unit in Dundalk.
