Small residential development gets go ahead
Louth County Council has given the go ahead for a new small residential development in Omeath.
Marion McCabe applied to Louth County Council last September for planning permission for the development at Knocknagoran in Omeath, which would see the demolition of an existing semi-detached single storey disused dwelling house, and the construction of a new residential development.
The proposed development comprises two, three-bedroom semi-detached houses; two, two-bedroom semi-detached houses; and three, three-bedroom terraced houses.
The planning application also provides for ancillary and associated site development works including site clearance works, new vehicular/pedestrian access of public road, car parking spaces, communal open space area, hard and soft landscaping and boundary treatment works.
Following the submission of significant further information on the planned development by the applicant on 7 March, Louth County Council granted conditional planning permission on 28 March.
