The principal of Ó Fiaich Institute of Further Education where Raven Adams studied film and photography has paid tribute to the 24-year-old after she was killed in a hit-and-run collision in north Belfast, remembering her as a creative, confident young woman who "did very well" during her time there.
Mr Padraig McGovern said:
“That’s where her preference was, she loved photography, she loved being creative and did very well in it.
“It’s such a tragedy that a young girl who was doing well in Belfast was struck down in one of these horrible tragic incidents.
“Our condolences go to her family and friends and all who knew her. A lot of people have spoken very highly of her to me today. I remember her myself.
“She was the sort of person who would be chosen by Ken Finegan, who was the coordinator of the class, to come down and… to get some little concession some way.
“She would be the one to put her case forward and could do it very well."
