What's on: Jam-packed weekend at Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue in Louth

There is something for everyone this weekend at Toales with music, arts, crafts, and a pop-up fair!
Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue is set for another weekend of incredible events and music!
On Friday, November 15, Avocado Rocks Promotions presents Caoimhin, Geansaí, and Apropos, with doors opening 8pm and admission costing just €5.
Caoimhin is a young singer/songwriter, whose honest and deeply personal song-writing shows a maturity that is well beyond his years. His style is acoustic/indie folk and his passion is composing and performing his own material. His music speaks on the experiences and emotions that fill his head and the way he see things in the world today. Caoimhin uses those experiences to try and create a safe place where other lonely souls can feel at home and hopefully find something in the music and lyrics to help move past their fears, doubts and loss and feel okay again.
Geansaí brings his own inimitable style of parochial grunge folk, wrapped in a warm wooly jumper to Toales. An aspiring discontent, Geansaí draws his inspiration from the various crises evident in modern Ireland, and the ever rising price of spuds. Expect expertly crafted songs, weaving humour, humanity, and a sense of unease with modern life.
Apropos, a new female-fronted band from Dundalk, formed by a shared love of rock and indie music, with a wide range of influences including Nirvana, The Eagles, The Smiths, Fleetwood Mac and Queens Of The Stone Age are also set to take to the stage.
On Saturday, November 16, an arts, crafts, and food market will take place from 12pm to 5pm.
Kitsch Bitsch and Toales are back again with another pop-up craft fair, raising much needed funds for Louth Disability Cycling Club. Local artisans and crafters will cater for everyone's tastes and needs, hosting alternative and seasonal jewellery, household and children's items, tattooing and piercing, vintage and retro clothes, delicious hot and cold food, and much more so be sure to come along!
Also on Saturday, Lynn Thizzy (Thin Lizzy Tribute) will perform, with doors opening at 8pm and admission costing €10.
Debuting in Toales live venue are Dublin's Lynn Thizzy, the ultimate Thin Lizzy experience. The group will play legendary music spanning the whole of Thin Lizzy's career, from fan-favourite album tracks, to those singalong classics, all in a two hour show honouring the music and memory of the late, great Phil Lynott.
