The Drogheda syndicate becomes the first Lotto Jackpot winner of 2025.
This tight-knit clan have been playing the Lottery as a family for years, playing the same numbers every week, with this being their first major win.
As one syndicate member said: “I was always convinced one of us would win the Lotto”
“It’s become a tradition in the house, checking the tickets every week using the app.
"When we scanned the winning ticket – we could not believe it – the ticket was checked over and over again!
"I never let the ticket leave my side, any time I left the house it came with me, and when I was at home the safest place for it was to have it tucked away in my passport!"
