Gardaí in Ennis seize two cars for driving offences in one day

One of the drivers presented a 'fake driving document' when stopped by Ennis gardaí
Gardaí in Ennis have seized cars from two motorists for driving without insurance and for driving without a licence.
In a post on Facebook, An Garda Síochána Clare shared that "two cars were seized following ANPR (automatic number-plate recognition) alerts by the Roads Policing unit in Ennis".
"One driver produced a fake driving document and the other was not named on the cars policy."
"We now have roadside access to insurance information on Garda mobility phones and in ANPR units," the post continued.
Both drivers will face a court date and possible driving bans.
