Irish media personality takes tour of Clare and lists her recommendations!

FAMOUS broadcaster, social media personality and former Miss Universe Ireland took a tour of Clare and recommended her favourite things to do, see, eat and stay.

Rozanna ‘Roz’ Purcell recently toured the county, taking on Lahinch, Doolin, Ennistymon and Corofin. The outdoor enthusiast posted on Instagram her suggestions, which included cafés, walking trails and even glamping.

Best known for her modelling career, Roz sports over 550,000 Instagram followers. She is known nowadays for her hiking excursions and colourful adventure accounts online.

Having taken a ‘staycation’ in the Banner county, the bestselling cookery author and entrepreneur posted a series of pictures from her time in Clare.

She recommended the Castle Darcy Glamping accommodation in Lahinch, while also saying that the Fiddle & Bow hotel in Doolin was worth a visit.

In terms of activities, her recommendations were that of hiking the Cliffs of Moher Coastal Trail, visiting Doolin and Aillwee caves, and eating in Ennistymon’s Pot Duggans or the Cheese Press.

Continuing on by saying that a day trip to Inishmore is ‘a must!’, Roz also mentioned that the Clahane shore area in a high tide is ‘the best’.

Finishing her post with a bit of advice, the Clomnel native said: “It goes without saying, but personal responsibility is important when exploring outdoors - check weather updates and water warnings/quality updates before taking a dip!”
