Temporary road closures proposed for race event around Clare lake

CLARE County Council have given notice of proposed temporary road closures to facilitate Quest Ireland's Lough Derg event, set to take in early September. 

The L-4128, L-8200 at Carrownakilly and L-82021 at Ballycuggaran are to be closed, along with the public parking bays at the north side of the Twomilegate car park.

Local residents access only will be in place.

The closures will be in place on Saturday September 9 from 6am to 2pm.

Traffic willl be diverted northbound on the R-463 to the L-8198 and back onto the L-4128.

Objections / representations may be made by email to [email protected] or in writing before 4:00 p.m. on Friday 25th August 2023 to; Administrative Officer, Roads and Transportation Department at Clare County Council.
