Author to bring tales of beloved Granny Nancy to Limerick

AN IRISH author who brightened people's days during the pandemic with her videos with her granny is bringing her book tour to Limerick.
Louise Coghlan is hoping to spread joy, healing and her Granny Nancy's humour to as many people as possible as she promotes her new book, Granny Nancy: Ireland’s Oldest Lady Who Lived, Loved and Laughed for 107 Years.
In January 2021, Lou and Granny Nancy set off on a 32 county virtual mass tour with Irish and international audiences enjoying the fun and uniqueness of their goal.
Lou is hoping to complete another thirty two county tour, sadly without Granny by her side this time, but instead she will be in her heart as Lou heads towards all those who fell in love with Granny Nancy the first time round.
Lou will bring her book tour to Croom Family Resource Centre on Tuesday, December 6 from 11am.
The author will be in attendance all day signing books and chatting to people before giving a special talk about Granny Nancy and how she lived, loved and laughed for 107 Years from 4-6pm that evening.
Lou said: "I’m really thrilled and honoured to be part of this very special Community Health Day being held in Croom Community Family Resource Centre.
"I’ve never been to Croom before so I’m very excited to be part of something very special and important.
"As we all know, to take care of ourselves in every way is so important and to be able to mind each other too is equally important.
"A big thanks to all at Croom Family Resource Centre for having me down to Limerick. I’m really looking forward to meeting one and all and this being a very special Granny Nancy tour stop off".
