Bus passenger loses €5,000 after suitcase stolen on way to Limerick

Woman's luggage, containing Apple laptop, was taken from the bus compartment
LIMERICK gardaí are urging people to be vigilant about leaving valuable items where they cannot see them.
A woman in her mid twenties was travelling by bus from Dublin to Abbeyfeale on Wednesday, May 10 at 8.15 in the evening.
She put her luggage in the compartment of the bus, but when she got to Abbeyfeale, she saw it had been taken.
Her suitcase contained valuable items including an Apple laptop, bringing the value of the stolen property to €5,000.
Sergeant Ber Leech of Henry Street garda station has this advice: "It is more secure to keep all of your valuable property on your person and near you when travelling.
"If your luggage is too big to fit in the bus and must go in the luggage compartment, make sure that you do not have any valuable items in the suitcase."
