KINGFISHR have announced a surprise tour of four cities in one day to celebrate their upcoming album release - and Limerick is on the list of stops.

And, it’s happening tomorrow!

The band, who say they consider Limerick to be their hometown, despite being “blow-ins”, will also be popping up in Galway, Cork and Dublin this Saturday.

That Concert Bible shared a post on Instagram, outlining the contents of an email sent by the band to fans who pre-saved ‘Weight of the Feather’.

The band, who reached fame across the country with their break-out hit ‘Killeagh’, have performed around the world with their last album, ‘Halcyon’.

Kingfishr told fans they would be visiting the four cities, and wanted their supporters to be the first to know.

“We’re running around Ireland on Saturday to celebrate the new album. We’re letting you know first here cause you’re sound,” the email, shared by That Concert Bible, explained.

The band confirmed on their Instagram story this Friday evening that they will be starting in Galway at 10.30am, before heading to Limerick for 1.30pm.

They will then head to Cork for 5pm and head on to Dublin for 9.30pm in what will be a very busy day on the road for the trio and their team!

It is unclear whether the visits will include live performances.

In their email, the band advised fans to “keep an eye on socials,” where they will “drop” the locations for each pop-up.

Limerick fans will undoubtedly be waiting by the phone to find out where they’ll be, and wondering if the band will potentially be playing some of their new music.
