Limerick city households affected by water outages
IRISH Water and Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) have reported water outages in parts of Limerick city.
Irish Water is currently investigating the source of the outages.
The water disruptions are currently affecting Talbot Avenue, Hyde Road, Byrne Avenue, Meagher Close, Prospect and surrounding areas in Limerick City.
This is the second report of water outages in Limerick city in the last number of days.
Yesterday Irish Water announced that repairs were ongoing in Limerick city due to a burst water pipe which affected parts of the Kilmallock Road and Georgian Village. Repairs were completed yesterday afternoon and water has been restored.
A number of schools in Newcastle West and the surrounding areas had to shut their doors yesterday due to no water supply but Irish Water has also resolved this issue.
