Limerick Gospel Choir return with free charity Christmas concert!

WHAT HAS become somewhat of a festive tradition, Limerick Gospel Choir are warming up their vocal chords as they prepare for their annual concert.

The charity Christmas concert, A Feast of Christmas Songs & Carols, will see funds raised for local charity, the Northstar Family Support Project.

The charity supports families of people suffering the effects of substance misuse, and is the only charity in Limerick that provides such a service.

The concert will be held in St Michael’s Church, Denmark St, Limerick on Sunday Dec 17 at 6pm. Entry is free, but there will be buckets going around where you can donate to charity. All ages are welcome.

Triona O’Connor, PRO of the choir, said: “It is always an exciting event each year for us and we love the build-up and preparation and the event itself.

“It is always such a treat to be a part of, it is a great feeling that we can give back to the community, especially during the Christmas season.”

Thomond Primary School Choir will make an appearance this year as Limerick Gospel’s special guests.
