LIMERICK's annual Richard Harris Film Festival has been shortlisted in the 2023 Business to Arts award.

To be announced on September 12, the October festival and its corporate sponsorship partner Amcomri Entertainment has been shortlisted in the small sponsorship category.

Business to Arts aims to connect the corporate and cultural sectors through mutually beneficial partnerships.

The awards, running for over 30 years, recognise “excellence in creative partnerships, where a business, philanthropic organisation, or individual has supported the arts in an outstanding or compelling way”.

Rob Gill, who chairs the film festival said: “We are delighted to receive this recognition from Business to Arts in the first year of our partnership with Amcomri.

"We would like to thank all at Amcomri and 101 Films International, our team at the festival and of course Business to Arts and the judges for this recognition. The shortlisting for this award, among so many worthy nominees, is testament to the relationship we have with Amcomri, who have proven to be an ideal corporate sponsor for the festival."
