Limerick Regional Athletics Cub to temporarily close for essential works
The Newcastle West hub will shut its doors for two weeks
THE LIMERICK Regional Athletics Hub, a state-of-the-art facility located in Newcastle West, will temporarily close to the public this month.
The hub will undergo essential works from August 12 to 26, and will be inaccessible to the public during this two-week period.
Limerick City and County Council have apologised for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
The Limerick Regional Athletics Hub, featuring an 8-lane synthetic athletics track, field facilities, and a surrounding walking path, is a valuable resource for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and the local community.
A spokesperson for Limerick City and County Council said, “We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to enhance the hub’s infrastructure”.
“We look forward to welcoming you back to an improved and well-maintained facility after the completion of these essential works,” the statement concluded.
