My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Festive fashion fun in Limerick streets

THERE was a wonderful Christmassy atmosphere in the city at the weekend where we hosted Christmas Fashion on the Streets of Limerick.
From 12 noon on Saturday on the Thomas Street / Catherine Street junction, the Holman Lee Agency presented a festive fashion show, showcasing the latest trends from Limerick’s top fashion houses and designers, with plenty of advice and spot prizes on the day.

Rich colourful styles shone in the streets, which included fantastic accessories by Tadhg Kearney jewellers, Keanes jewellers and sunglasses by Vision Two.
The clothes that were being showcased by our Holman Lee Agency models were very appropriate for the time of year, with wonderful knitwear and warm coats for both men and women being shown.
The men’s styles were a big hit and we were thrilled to see so many men in attendance enjoying the mixture of puffer jackets and tailored coats on show.
It was wonderful that big fashion houses such as Brown Thomas, Penneys and Dunnes Stores took part in the show, along with many more.
I am so grateful that the Holman Lee Agency models got to show all these styles. We are happy to have been the only agency to have brought the catwalk out to the streets for everyone to see.
I want to personally thank all the Holman Lee models and Mickey Martin’s pub for their hospitality, and Limerick City and County Council as well as Christmas in Limerick who we were working in association with for this event.
