National daily Covid figures released by the Department of Health
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 3,300 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Yesterday, the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 2,277 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19.
In addition, on Monday 28 February, 4,771* people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
As of 8am today, 616 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 48 are in ICU.
Yesterday, there were 610 individuals in hospital with Covid-19, 47 of whom were in ICU.
