Number of signposts removed in Limerick city

A TOTAL of 57 signs across the city centre have been removed as part of a council "decluttering" project.

This is seeing old-style signs replaced with new, upgraded and more tourist friendly signs.

A contractor has been put in place to complete the works.

Seventy new signposts are proposed across the city centre.

The update was received by Labour councillor Joe Leddin.
