Rescued dog passes away in care of Limerick Animal Welfare
LIMERICK Animal Welfare have shared the sad news that one of their rescue dogs has passed away.
Angel the lurcher was found on Sunday unable to stand and in terrible pain. She was then taken to the vet by volunteers.
The dog was placed under the care of LAW and underwent emergency treatment including x-rays.
Following tests and x-rays, Angel was found to have a spinal injury and her legs were paralysed.
Sadly there was no treatment that could help her recover and Angel passed away on Monday afternoon.
The centre thanked the volunteer who brought her to the vets and everyone who donated to her care.
