Ireland's top waterside restaurants, bars and cafés have been ranked to visit and dine in the sunshine

Make hay while the sun shines - the best restaurants, bistros, bars and cafés have been ranked by Betway, with temperatures set to soar this weekend.

In light of the sunny weather and blue skies, a list of the top places to dine with waterside views have been revealed.

Coming in on top was The Curragower Bar and Restaurant, located in the heart of Limerick city. Situated on the banks of the River Shannon in Limerick’s Medieval Quarter, this spot offers locally sourced food and picturesque views.

Additionally, The River Bar & Restaurant located in Limerick's Strand Hotel made the list as it overlooks the Shannon, too. This hotspot offers a 'truly special dining experience', with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce.

Angelina’s in Dublin, which sits on the banks of the Grand Canal, came in second place. Angelina's menu boasts Italian-inspired dishes to be enjoyed in a relaxing environment, overlooking the water.

The Boathouse in Co Donegal bagged third place, as it offers guests amazing food with views of the beautiful Lough Foyle. They are famed for their fish and chips and their catch of the day. placeholder image
