The Acoustic Club, Special Guest Songwriter this month is Sean MacLeod

Tuesday 17th May 2022 at 9.00pm.

Now based at The Record Room @ The Commercial Bar, Catherine. St, Limerick,

Sean MacLeod is a singer/songwriter/musician, author, music producer and lecturer from Dublin, now living in Limerick, Ireland. Sean has been writing and producing music for more than twenty five years. His most recent book Behind the Wall of Illusion – the religious, occult and esoteric world of the Beatles was released to critical acclaim. His previous books are Leaders of the Pack: Girl Groups of the 1960s and Their Influence on Popular Culture in Britain and America (2015) and Phil Spector: Sound of the Sixties (2017).

All aspiring songwriters, musicians, singers and community musicians are invited to attend and play at the open-mic in front of a live audience.

All types of music and singers are welcome.

The evening features performers doing short sets of two or three songs. Also "Special Guest" slots where an established performer will perform a set of their own music.

The Acoustic Club is an initiative of The Limerick Writers' Centre.
