Virtual horse racing gallops into Limerick village
CROOM Community Development Association (CCDA) has launched its upcoming virtual race night which will take place at the civic centre, where you will be able to place bets on virtual races and win real prize money.
The chair of CCDA David Hurley, noted "the race night was a great opportunity for the community to come together for a sociable night in Croom."
With music as well as the races and a light supper, the evening is sure to be a great success. Mr Hurley commented that "there is great fun and hilarity around Croom, naming horses in advance of the races."
The event is set to take place in Aubergine Store and Restaurant at the civic centre, on this Friday, May 19 at 8.30pm. Some tickets are available online at cromadh.com or at the Civic Centre Croom.
The proceeds of the event will go to the building of Croom Civic Centre and the ongoing work of CCDA in Croom Town Park.
