WATCH: Limerick and Clare hurling fans out in force for Munster Championship clash

TENS of thousands hurling fans are out this Saturday night to support their respective counties as Limerick are taking on Clare in round two of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.

Limerick Live reporters Meghann Scully and Cathal Doherty were out and about close to TUS Gaelic Grounds ahead of throw-in to sample the atmosphere.

One Limerick supporter, Jack (7) from Broadford was one of the younger fans who believes John Kiely's side will win the match by “a load” of points.

Dan and Dave Ryan have long been Limerick supporters and Dan’s son TJ Ryan is a well known former county player and selector.

“We know what to expect,” Dave reckons when it comes to Clare as both men believe Limerick will win on home soil.

Clare supporters are also out in force as many are only living “over the road”.

Father and son Liam and Finn from Sixmilebridge reckon that the Banner men will put up a fierce fight as Finn believes Clare will “hammer” the Limerick men.
