A Tipperary driver who was travelling at a shocking speed tested positive for drugs

Gardaí have arrested a speeding driver for drug driving in Roscrea.

They said on social media that while carrying out speed enforcement in the Roscrea Subdistrict, the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle travelling 111km/h in a 50km/h zone.

The driver tested positive for cannabis and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
