Latest weather models show the cold spell coming to a wet and windy end next Sunday morning with milder air moving in, forecaster Alan O'Reilly said.
He added: "The weather models are still uncertain about the track of low pressure system Monday night into Tuesday.
"Some show rain catching Southern counties and falling as snow in parts but other models keep it offshore so wait and see for now."
