Specialised support offered to individuals with a diagnosis of autism

To celebrate Autism Acceptance Day on Wednesday April 5, a group from Ancaire Autism Service, part of the National Learning Network (NLN) Clonmel, visited medical solutions firm, Boston Scientific at their plant in Parknascaddane, Clonmel.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting with the LEAD ERG (Leadership, Education and Allies for Disabilities) team.

Clients from Ancaire were inspired by the tour of the plant, the demonstrations, and meeting with many of the employers and employees - with a fun, interactive finish-up.

Ancaire Autism Outreach Service at NLN Clonmel provides specialised support to individuals with a diagnosis of autism.

It offers a proactive, flexible service providing inclusive and person-centred support.
