Appeal made again for action to provide Tipperary Town bus shelter

Tipperary Independent councillor Annemarie Ryan has reiterated her appeal for action to be taken to provide a bus shelter in Tipperary Town.

"How long do we have to wait for a bus shelter on the Link Road?" she asked

"In April 2022 I requested this and the NTA (National Transport Authority) have yet to deliver. Recently they made recommendations on improving wheelchair accessability which is important and to upgrade the stop but we need them to fund a shelter asap and move the stop to the existing layby on the Link Road...

In the meantime people are getting soaked to the skin waiting for the bus," said Cllr Ryan.
