Follow all the results, reaction and analysis from the Count Centre here in Thurles as Tipperary South and Tipperary North votes are counted to elect three TDs in each constituency for the 2024 General Election.

Following John O'Heney's elimination in Tipperary South after the third count, it's looking likely that Martin Browne may be set to get closer to Imelda Goldsboro in third place with the transfer of his fellow west Tipperary-man's votes.

On the fourth count, Seamus Healy seems set to be the next to be eliminated so ultimately it depends on where his votes transfer, whether that's to Fianna Fáil's Imelda Goldsboro or indeed to Sinn Féin's Browne.

The fight for third seat will certainly be close but the odds are now in Martin Browne's favour.

Results for Tipperary South after the third count were as follows:

Martin Browne: 5,468

Imelda Goldsboro: 6,506

Seamus Healy: 5,393

Michael Murphy: 8,912

John O'Heney: 3,979
