Planning has been lodged for a new creche at a busy Tipperary school.
The Board of Management of Kilcommon National School has made an application to Tipperary County Council for the change of use to part of the existing school building for creche use (incorporating uses for pre-school, toddlers, infants, sleep area & afterschool).
It also includes the construction of a prefab cabin for staff use/office use with all associated siteworks.
The development address is at Kilcommon National School, Kilcommon, Thurles.
A decision is due by the local authority by September 10.
