CAMOGIE: Tipperary minors cruise to another big win as momentum grows

The Tipperary minor camogie team produced another excellent display and stormed to another fantastic win in the All- Ireland Minor A championship.

This time Galway were their opponents at the county camogie grounds. The tribeswomen were undefeated with three wins from three in their earlier games however they came unstuck against John Ryan's side who were unstoppable once they found their rhythm in the game.

The westerners started well but Tipp got a foothold on the game as the first half wore on and went in 0-9 to 1-3 clear at the break. In the second half Tipperary continued to tag on the points and despite a late Galway goal, Tipperary had enough of a lead built up to run out 0-14 to 2-4 winners.

The momentum in this championship is all with Tipperary. They started off just coming out the wrong side of a one point game with Kilkenny before travelling to the capital and recording a comprehensive win over Dublin in their second game. This win over Galway puts Tipperary in firm contention now as the championship continues.

Tipp will travel to Cork to take on the home side next before they play Waterford in their final group game.
