Cash found in Thurles a year ago still unclaimed Gardaí seek rightful owner

Owner is entitled to reclaim lost ATM cash; contact Sergeant Ray Moloney at Thurles Station
Gardaí in Thurles are renewing their appeal to locate the owner of cash discovered in the town a year ago. Officers hope to return the money to its rightful owner after it was left at a local Shopping Centre.
It is understood the individual had completed a transaction at an ATM but forgot to take the cash from the dispensing tray. A garda on patrol spotted the money shortly afterwards and collected it as lost property.
The owner remains entitled to reclaim the cash, and Gardaí said recovering it could make this Christmas particularly special for the person concerned.
Anyone who believes the money may belong to them or has information that could assist is asked to contact Sergeant Ray Moloney at Thurles Garda Station.
