As the calendar moves into November thoughts turn to Christmas.

Our Christmas Market with a free Santa visit will be held on Saturday, December 7.

Please call 087 270 1689 if you would like to book a spot on the day.

Santa will listen to requests for Christmas, pose for photos and have a little gift for each child.

We will also have a children’s colouringcompetition on the day and host a Customer Appreciation Day on December 14.

As usual, those needing to order a turkey or ham for the festive season need to look no further than Hammersley’s. Shop local and keep your food production economy vibrant.

Marie Hartnett will be with us on December 7, 14 and 21 but be sure to order early as due to the superb quality of her table centrepieces, mantelpiece displays and wreaths her order book gets filled pretty quickly.

Thanks to those who took part in our Halloween events – many adults played conkers and reminisced about their experiences of Halloween.

Thanks to TJ for carving pumpkins and helping children to make their own little monster.

As usual, on Saturday Mary offers an excellent range of baked goods from quiche to cakes, tarts to breads, scones to eclairs.

The Hammersleys also offer a great range of locally produced meats – pork, chicken, beef and lamb all available in a range of products.

Michael has a huge range of vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey and juices. Sprouts now in season!
