The Circle of Friends Cancer Support Service in Tipperary Town continued with its fundraising drive in the lead up to Christmas.

Numerous events took place with proceeds being donated to the centre.

A Christmas raffle took place with a selection of prizes including two super Christmas hampers. Included in the raffle was a unique item which was donated by Pat Bourke.

The item was a suitcase locker which was in the family for many years and which Pat kindly donated to the centre.

Centre Manager, Kay Hogan, expressed her thanks to Pat and to all who had donated items for the fundraising appeal.

The Centre was closed over the Christmas period but reopened on Tuesday, January 3.
